Why should I join RoadServe?
As a member, our team of highly-trained Maintenance Controllers manage the servicing or repair work on your behalf - giving you peace of mind that your vehicle is in expert hands and you only pay for what you need. RoadServe make sure unnecessary extra work and hidden charges are a thing of the past. You will not need to worry about having to deal with the garage direct; we take care of everything for you. All work is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months or 12,000 miles, and if things do go wrong, we will deal with the garage on your behalf. We also offer collection & delivery services and courtesy cars, subject to availability.
How do I join RoadServe and how much does it cost?
Simply follow the join RoadServe link or call the call centre on 0845 527 5505. Annual membership costs £59.99.
How do I book my vehicle in for a service or repair?
Once you have RoadServe membership, the online booking facilities can be accessed through your personalised area of the website. Alternatively, call us on 0845 527 5505 and one of our advisers will be happy to help you.
Will I need to speak to the garage at all?
RoadServe will take care of every aspect of the booking and payment. Your only contact will be to drop off the vehicle and collect it from the garage – leave the rest to us.
Does RoadServe choose the garage for me?
RoadServe will provide a selection of garages from our approved network based on your preferred location and the criteria you use as part of the online booking process. All RoadServe garages are monitored by our network team to ensure our demanding quality standards are maintained.
How do I choose the date for my service or repair?
The earliest available date will be displayed for each garage shown during your booking selection. You will then be invited to enter a preferred date and a second choice. The actual date will be confirmed to, normally by email, at the end of the booking process.
What types of garages are in the RoadServe Network
The network includes a range of garages from franchised dealers to independent garages. All RoadServe garages are monitored by our network team to ensure our demanding quality standards are maintained.
Will I know how much the work will cost in advance?
The RoadServe philosophy is to provide accurate quotations which reflect your specific vehicle and its mileage, rather than a generic estimate. This can only be accurately established once the garage has received the vehicle and reported back to your RoadServe Maintenance Controller. No work will be undertaken or charged to you without your authorisation.
Why do you pre-authorise an amount on my credit or debit card when booking?
RoadServe will settle the bill with the repairer direct on your behalf once we are happy with the completed work. The pre-authorised amount is an estimate which is calculated based on your vehicle type and age. If there is any additional work required, RoadServe will contact you for authorisation regardless of whether this is within the pre-authorised amount or not. You will only pay for what you authorise and no money will be taken from your account until the work is complete.
Can I have a collection & delivery service or a courtesy car when the work is being done?
If the facility is available at your chosen RoadServe garage, this can be requested when booking a service or repair on the website. You can of course take your car to the garage and collect it yourself, which will give you a wider range of garages and dates.
My vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty - can RoadServe do the work without affecting my warranty?
To ensure that manufacturer warranties are not invalidated, RoadServe garages perform work in accordance with the manufacturer's service schedule and ensure that the parts used are Original Equipment (OE) equivalent. Any warranty rectification required has to be completed by a franchised repairer. Your RoadServe Maintenance Controller will discuss this with you and help you with the arrangements wherever possible.
Is the work guaranteed?
Any parts and labour provided through RoadServe’s network of garages is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months and 12,000 miles, with some parts being guaranteed for longer.
What happens if I am unhappy with any aspect of the work on my vehicle?
You should contact RoadServe on 0845 527 5505 or by email on customerservice@roadserve.co.uk immediately and we will deal with the garage on your behalf.
Can I contact a RoadServe garage direct to have work done on my vehicle?
The benefits of your RoadServe membership can only be accessed if the booking is made through RoadServe.
Can I use my RoadServe membership to buy tyres?
Yes. Select the tyre option when making a booking.
Will you remind me when my MOT or next service is due?
Your vehicle details and records of any work done by RoadServe will be stored in your personalised area of the website. This area also includes the facility to record important dates such as MOT, estimated next service date, insurance renewal date etc.
